It has been widely-accepted that Hollows have always been primal, visceral beasts. That they lack the necessary intelligence and social skills to interact with one another, and form a society. Shinigami think of them as nothing but a stray wolf, hunting on its own to survive...
The shinigami are wrong.
A lost relic of an ageless time has been unearthed, and with it comes the power to destroy all the worlds. As mysterious in origin as it is powerful, this artifact threatens the very fabric of reality. No world is safe - Arrancar, Shinigami, and Quincy all face the same fate: Eradication.
Laying dormant for many years, this weapon has been lost to the shadows of obscurity...many have tossed it aside, unaware of its tremendous power, unaware of its vast history. It is an artifact of a time before the Gotei was established, before Shinigami even entertained the thought of organizing themselves into a military force. Long before spirits discovered the way to attain the state of being Shinigami, Hollows were the dominant race on this and any world. They were not the brutes of the present, but cold and calculating beasts, more intelligent and powerful than anything else.
In a world devoid of Quincy, bare of Shinigami, these Hollows reigned supreme over the land. Their strength and cunning were uncontested, allowing these beasts to gorge upon the delectable souls of the living and deceased. They were in their prime....when suddenly, at the height of their power, they lost everything. It is uncertain what occurred, but it is known that they simply...de-evolved. They lost their cunning. Lost their strength. Lost the ability to socially interact with one another in large groups. It was as if they were stripped of their very being...
This relic, this Seal, is a weapon of that time. This mysterious artifact has existed for over a millennium, quietly collecting dust in a corner, drifting from one owner to the next. What possible secrets could this Seal hold? What power could threaten the existence of all races? Why does 12th Division Captain Hikori know of its existence? What will happen when the Lost Ages resurface, awakened from a lifetime of sleep?
